Patch: Congressman Appointed Chairman Of Bi-Partisan Problem Solvers Caucus

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) is reaching across the political aisle to help his constituents, something he promised he would do when campaigning last year.

Gottheimer was appointed co-chairman of No Labels’ Problem Solvers Caucus, an independent group of dozens of U.S. Republican and Democrat congress members who will work together find areas of commonality on key issues.

Gottheimer promised while campaigning he would work with Democrats on several issues, including lowering taxes and improving infrastructure.

“I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting to work,” Gottheimer said in a statement. “There is real power in members coming together across the aisle to find opportunities to work together and move America forward.”
