PARAMUS, NJ – On Friday, March 22, 2019, at the IBEW Local 164 in Paramus, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) convened a group of over 35 labor leaders from North Jersey to discuss how to get things moving to fix New Jersey’s crumbling infrastructure and remedy New Jersey’s middle-skill workers gap.

“I am proud to stand with you for North Jersey and our hardworking families. Labor unions helped build this country and create the most competitive workforce in the world,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I appreciate all the hard-working leaders who joined me this morning and added to a productive discussion about fixing our roads, bridges and tunnels, making sure we are teaching the skills in schools that employers are looking for, and looking out for the health, safety, and benefits of New Jersey workers.”
