Hackensack Brewing Newest Part of Growing North Jersey Brewery Scene

HACKENSACK, NJ – On Saturday, February 2, 2019, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) celebrated the grand opening of Hackensack Brewing Company in Hackensack. The owner, Mike Jones, is hoping to continue expanding staff in the coming months, adding 10 jobs to the area. Hackensack Brewing Company joins Alementary as the second brewery in Hackensack, increasing tourism and economic development in our North Jersey Community. 


“I am excited to welcome Hackensack Brewing Company to the North Jersey small business community,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Hackensack has a flourishing brewery scene and it has proved a great addition to our economy. I want to congratulate Mike and the rest of the Hackensack Brewing Company team on their grand opening and reassure them that I am doing everything I can in Congress to lower our taxes and cut unnecessary red tape so that businesses can come, grow, and thrive here in North Jersey.”
