NORTHVALE, NJ – On Saturday, January 5, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) held his 33rd “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall at the Northvale Classic Diner in Northvale, New Jersey. Constituents filled the diner to talk with Gottheimer about cutting taxes, protecting our air and water, and his work with the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus at his first “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall since the start of the new Congress.
Gottheimer met with constituents from across North Jersey at these “Cup of Joe with Josh” events throughout his first term in Congress to hear directly from the people he represents to inform his work in Congress.
“I want to thank the Northvale Classic Diner for having us, and I appreciate everyone who came out to share their thoughts with me in Northvale today, and” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Hearing from those I represent is an essential part of my ability to best represent the people in the Fifth District, and I appreciate the opportunity to sit down and engage with the community to talk about their concerns, especially as we head into the new Congress. I will continue to fight for common sense solutions on the issues we discussed including lowering our taxes, investing in our roads, bridges and trains, and lowering our healthcare premiums. I will take these concerns with me to inform my bipartisan work in Washington for the Fifth District.”
