Gottheimer Honors America’s Fallen Heroes at Memorial Day Services, Festivals, and Parades
Attends Events in New Milford, Westwood, Fair Lawn, Teaneck, and Bergenfield
Today, May 28, 2018, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) honored America’s fallen heroes at Memorial Day events with local veterans, first responders, active service members, families, and local officials across the Fifth District. Gottheimer attended the New Milford Fire Company Memorial Day Service, Westwood Annual Memorial Day Parade, Fair Lawn Memorial Day Parade, Teaneck Cedar Lane Family Festival, and Bergenfield Memorial Day Parade.
“As we enjoy this long weekend with friends and family, please join me in pausing to honor and remember our nation’s fallen heroes and rededicating ourselves to serving the heroes still with us today,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “We can never adequately express our gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, but we can start by keeping our promises to today’s veterans and service members who risk their lives to keep us safe. To me, there is no commitment more sacred than to those who have served our nation.”
