RIDGEWOOD, NJ – On Saturday, April 20, 2019, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) met with constituents at It’s Greek To Me in Ridgewood who could ask him any question on any issue. Like others, the Town Hall, the second this week, was open to the everyone, including the media.
Dozens of local residents joined Josh at the diner to chat with him about everything from traffic lights in Paramus, to individual case work issues, to reinstating the SALT deduction to actually cut taxes, to help with veteran issues, to the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund. This was Gottheimer’s 37th Town Hall since taking office.
“I want to thank It’s Greek To Me for having us, and thank Port Authority PBA President Paul Nunziato for speaking with us about the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund. I appreciate everyone who came out to share their thoughts with me at our 37th Town Hall,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Hearing from the folks I represent is an essential part of my ability to best represent the Fifth Congressional District. I appreciate the opportunity to sit down and engage with the community to talk about whatever is on their minds.”
