PARAMUS, NJ – U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) held an open Q&A with constituents at the Suburban Diner on Friday in Paramus. Dozens of local residents joined Gottheimer at the diner to chat with him about reinstating the SALT deduction to actually cut taxes, the rising cost of college, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and his work with the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus. This was Gottheimer’s 39th town hall since taking office.
“I want to thank the Suburban Diner for welcoming us and I appreciate everyone who joined us to share their thoughts with me and to ask questions about the issues on their minds,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Hearing from the folks I represent is an essential part of my ability to best represent the Fifth Congressional District. I appreciate the opportunity to sit down and engage with the community to talk about what’s concerning them most. I will continue to fight for common sense solutions on the issues we discussed, like lowering our taxes, investing in our crumbling infrastructure, lowering our health care costs, and other local issues. I will take these concerns with me to inform my bipartisan work in Washington for the Fifth District.”
