ANDOVER, NJ – On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) held his 43rd “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall at the Route 206 Diner in Andover in Sussex County, NJ. Dozens of Fifth District residents joined the discussion with Gottheimer about everything from expanding access for veterans health care, putting a halt to illegal dumping and dirt piles in our communities, combating lead water in schools to keep kids healthy, reinstating the SALT and charitable tax deduction to provide actual tax relief for our hardworking families, to lowering out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs, his work in Congress to end senior scams, and his work with the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus.

“I’d like to thank the Route 206 Diner for their hospitality in welcoming us today and I truly appreciate all of the Fifth District residents who turned out to share their thoughts and ask questions about the issues on their minds,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Hearing from the folks I represent all around North Jersey is an essential part of my ability to best represent their interests in Congress. I always appreciate the opportunity to answer questions and engage with the community to discuss what’s concerning them most. I will continue to fight for common sense solutions on the issues we discussed, including keeping our air and water clean, cutting taxes, investing in our crumbling infrastructure, lowering our health care costs, and standing up for our first responders and our veterans. I’m going to take the concerns I heard today to inform my work in Washington fighting for the Fifth District.”
