Today, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined over 2,000 runners for the 20th annual Upper Saddle River 5K Run. The event benefits the Upper Saddle River Ambulance Corps and the Upper Saddle River Fire Department, as well as local charities like the Boys and Girls Club, the Center for Hope and Safety, the Upper Saddle River Education Fund, and the “Extra Mile” Scholarship Foundation.

“I appreciate everyone coming out this morning and showing their support for some incredible causes,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “This time of year, we should all be thinking about what we can do for others and this race is a great way to make an impact on our community. Thank you to the Upper Saddle River Police Department and the Fire Department for giving up their time this Thanksgiving morning to make sure runners were safe and the race went smoothly.”
