Today, Thursday, November 28, 2019, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined more than 2,200 runners for the 21st Annual Upper Saddle River 5k Run. The race benefits the Upper Saddle River Ambulance Corps and the Upper Saddle River Fire Department, as well as local charities like the Boys and Girls Clubs, the Center for Hope and Safety, the Upper Saddle River Education Fund, and the “Extra Mile” Scholarship Foundation, among others.

“I’m honored to represent such an incredible community like Upper Saddle River that dedicates so much to these wonderful causes,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “During this time of year, it’s so important to come together and support others, and this race is a great way to make a real impact. A special thank you to the Upper Saddle River Police Department and the Fire Department for taking the time this Thanksgiving morning to make sure everyone is safe.”

Gottheimer was joined at the opening of the race by Upper Saddle River Mayor Minichetti, Police Chief Rotella, and local officials.
