Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) announced that online voting has officially begun for the 2017 Congressional Art Competition. Dozens of talented high school artists from across North Jersey have submitted their art for a chance to have their work displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year and to win a trip to Washington courtesy of Southwest Airlines through this annual competition. Residents of the Fifth District are invited to vote for their favorite pieces online to help Gottheimer select this year’s winner.

“I’m so impressed by the talent of the young artists from across northern New Jersey who entered the Congressional Art Competition, and I encourage everyone to take the time to view their work and vote for their favorite submission,”
said Congressman Josh Gottheimer.

The art submissions can be viewed online HERE, and constituents may cast their votes online HERE. Voting runs through Friday, May 5th.
