Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) met individually with Fifth District residents at his 25th “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall in Midland Park. Gottheimer holds these “Cup of Joe with Josh” events regularly across North Jersey to hear directly from the people he serves. At Sansone’s Family Restaurant, Gottheimer and constituents discussed the work he is doing to protect students, lower taxes, attract and keep jobs in the state, and improve New Jersey’s crumbling roads, tunnels, bridges, and rails.

“For me to effectively represent the people of the Fifth District, I need to hear directly from residents about their needs and priorities and how I can be of help,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “What I heard from residents today at Sansone’s was that we need to do more to protect our children while they’re on buses and in school, improve our infrastructure, and cut taxes to make living in North Jersey more affordable for families and businesses. I’ll take that feedback with me back to Washington and continue to work across the aisle to achieve results for Fifth District families.”
