Gottheimer Salutes Sussex County Senior of the Year, Local Veteran Roy McQueen

Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited the New Jersey State Fair, where he presented a flag and certificate to Sussex County’s “Senior of the Year” Roy McQueen, an army veteran from Hopatcong. Gottheimer also greeted and thanked veterans at the veterans tent, stopped by the Sussex County Beekeepers Association demonstration, and tours 4-H Building’s farm animals. Gottheimer spoke with local seniors, residents, and students at booths across the Sussex County Fairgrounds.

“There is no greater responsibility than that we owe to those who have given so much to us. Sussex County seniors and veterans have made invaluable contributions to our Jersey communities, so I’m happy to be able to take today celebrate with them and honor Roy McQueen in particular,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer. “The Sussex County Fair is one of my favorite New Jersey traditions.”
