RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) scooped ice cream for customers, made a batch of lemon basil ice cream, and met with employees at Ice Cream by Mike in Ridgewood. While “on the job,” Gottheimer served Ridgewood Mayor Ramon Hache and Wyckoff families with owner Mike Elias.

Mike began serving customers in North Jersey and across the state in 2014, when he opened Ice Cream by Mike in Hackensack. To accomodate for growing demand, Mike moved the business to its current, larger location at 305 E Ridgewood Ave this May.

“Ice Cream by Mike is known for its high-quality ingredients, its creative flavors, and for having the best ice cream around. Mike knows how to make serving North Jersey families, like Mayor Hache’s, fun,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Ice Cream by Mike and small businesses like it are the lifeblood of the North Jersey economy, helping to build our community and create good jobs. Thank you, Mike, for hosting me, and for investing in North Jersey workers and the North Jersey economy.”
