Gottheimer Supports Court’s Sports Betting Decision

Today, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) released the following statement in response to the Supreme Court decision to allow sports gambling in New Jersey.

“The Supreme Court stood with New Jersey, today. There is no reason that New Jersey should not get the same opportunity to pursue legal regulated sports betting that is already legal in four other states and use the revenues to help cut our taxes. In a fight, I’ll always bet on New Jersey and this is a clear win for us. This is not a partisan issue, it’s just a good-for-Jersey issue.”
