NEW MILFORD, NJ – Monday, January 7, 2019, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) swore in New Milford Councilwoman Thea Sirocchi-Hurley at New Milford’s Town Hall.
“Councilwoman Sirocchi-Hurley has lived in New Milford her entire life, where she has been an active member of this vibrant community as a volunteer and as a public servant,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Committed to our first responders and keeping our community safe, Councilwoman Sirocchi-Hurley also successfully took on big projects like improvements to Kennedy Memorial Field and working with the Historic Preservation Commission to acquire ownership of the French Huguenot Cemetery, the oldest Cemetery in Bergen County, for New Milford. I am proud of the work she has done with this Council thus far and look forward to working with her in the years to come.”
