MAHWAH, NJ – On Monday, March 16, 2020, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) met with Mahwah first responders to discuss what supplies and resources they need to help the community combat the coronavirus.

“While we deal with this virus, we must continue to make sure that the people on the front lines, like our firefighters and first responders, have the supplies they need to protect themselves and our community,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “That is why I am continuing to coordinate with the Administration, local and state leaders, hospital officials, and our local first responders to make sure their supply needs are met while we fight this public health crisis together. I’m very grateful for their service.”

Mahwah Emergency Medical Services, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing no-cost ambulance service to the residents and visitors of the Township of Mahwah.

Mahwah EMS recently held a COVID-19 training.

In 2019, Mahwah EMS was dispatched to 1,549 emergency calls and spent over 4,300 volunteer hours responding to those emergencies.
