Thursday, October 25, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) helped welcome McLaren Engineering to their new headquarters in Woodcliff Lake at their ribbon cutting ceremony.

“I’m excited to welcome McLaren Engineering to the Fifth District and to New Jersey,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Businesses like McLaren and so many others drive our economy and the harder we make it for them to succeed, the harder we make it for us to succeed. As long as I am in Congress, I will always work to find ways to make doing business in New Jersey easier, to cut taxes, eliminate red tape, and invest in our infrastructure — our roads, tunnels, and rails.”

“We are excited about the growth opportunities in New Jersey and the expansion of our regional footprint,” said Malcolm McLaren, the company’s president and CEO. “Though this is our first corporate office in New Jersey, we’ve engineered important projects across the Garden State, including most recently the Wittpenn Bridge in Kearny and the Babbio Center at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken.”

For more than 40 years, McLaren Engineering Group has provided innovative, customized engineering solutions for more than 15,000 projects. With over 200 employees in 10 offices, McLaren is licensed in 49 states and serves 10 key markets. Their new 57,000 square foot headquarters in Woodcliff Lake will house 130 employees with the possibility of expanding to 250 employees over the coming years.
