In the spirit of friendly bipartisan competition, freshmen Congressmen Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) and Mike Gallagher (WI-8) announced a bet on the outcome of this Sunday’s Wild Card Game between the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers. Should the Giants prevail, Gallagher will provide Gottheimer’s office with the finest Wisconsin cheese curds; and if the Packers win, Gottheimer will give Gallagher’s office authentic New Jersey bagels and cream cheese.

“I look forward to the Giants continuing their tradition of winning playoff games in Green Bay on their way to Super Bowl championships,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer. “Delicious Wisconsin cheese curds will only make their victory taste better. I thank Congressman Gallagher for his friendship and for being foolish enough to bet against Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr.”
