Josh on the Job: Gottheimer Serves Local Customers at Wyckoff Dunkin’
Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) worked the register, spoke with employees, and served local customers at the Dunkin’ Donuts in Wyckoff. There Gottheimer was joined by Gary Haar, owner of the Wyckoff restaurant as well as five other Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in the Fifth District, to discuss ways to help New Jersey businesses like Dunkin’ Donuts thrive and create jobs.
“Dunkin’ Donuts is a key job creator in our community. Across New Jersey, there are 874 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants, employing more than 16,000 New Jersey workers. The restaurants are owned by independent, small business owners who live and work in the communities they serve. Many are even family-run businesses that have been passed down from one generation to the next,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I was thrilled to get to learn the ropes at the Dunkin’ Donuts in Wyckoff, and speak with one of these small business owners, my friend Gary Haar. Gary owns six Dunkin’ Donuts across the Fifth District, employing many Fifth District residents, including two of his sons. In Congress, I will keep fighting to lower taxes, invest in our infrastructure, and cut red tape so that New Jersey businesses like Dunkin’ Donuts can come, stay, and continue to create jobs here in North Jersey.”
