ENGLEWOOD, NJ — Today, November 26, 2025, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined forces with the Center for Food Action (CFA) to help collect and distribute turkeys and Thanksgiving meals for local families in need.

“Every day, families should have the food they need — especially on Thanksgiving. This season reminds us to be grateful for everything we have and to look for opportunities to give back to our community and support those who may be struggling, especially with costs being so high,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “That’s exactly what today was all about. Thank you to the Center for Food Action, all the amazing volunteers, and to everyone who helps ensure Jersey families have the Thanksgiving turkey they deserve.”

Gottheimer was joined today at the Center for Food Action’s (CFA) Englewood pantry by CFA Executive Director Nicole Davis and local volunteers.
