RIDGEWOOD, NJ — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) attended the Village of Ridgewood’s 38th annual Christmas Tree Lighting, a part of the village’s “Downtown for the Holidays” event. This year’s event was held in honor of Jessica Palameria’s son, Preston Stott, who tragically passed away last year.

Gottheimer, Ridgewood Mayor Paul Vagianos, Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce President Glenn Carlough, and Jessica Palameria gave remarks prior to the tree being lit.

“Together this season, let us be thankful for all that we have, continue taking care of those in our community who may be looking for help, and never stop fighting to make Jersey an even better place to live, work, and raise a family,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).

Gottheimer was joined by Ridgewood Mayor Paul Vagianos, Deputy Mayor Pamela Perron, Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce President Glenn Carlough, and the Ridgewood Council.
