PHOTO RELEASE: Gottheimer Brings Together Fifth District Faith Leaders to Discuss Making North Jersey Community Stronger, Safer
MAHWAH, NJ – U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) hosted Faith Leaders from across the Fifth Congressional District at Ramapo College to discuss rising forms of hatred in our communities, what peaceful resolutions can be accomplished, how best to provide for North Jersey children and seniors, and how to bring communities together.
“North Jersey is an incredible area because it represents such a diverse group of individuals with unique backgrounds, faiths, and ideologies. As religious leaders, you represent the very best of our community and you all lead your congregations to embrace values that create strong communities and lasting relationships. You all truly display — what I like to call — Jersey values,” Congressman Josh Gottheimer said to the group. “Despite the many challenges we face, despite all that’s going on in the world right now, we must not give up. We cannot lose faith.”
