RIDGEFIELD, NJ — Today, July 4, 2023, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) took part in the Ridgefield Park Independence Day Parade to celebrate the United States’ 247th birthday and honor all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our great country.

“As we celebrate our nation’s Independence Day and America’s 247th birthday today, it was great to join Jersey families, veterans, and first responders in Ridgefield Park to honor all those who fought — and those who continue to fight — to make our freedom possible. Thank you to all the active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders who’ve kept our great country safe and free. We weren’t going to let a little rain stop us from celebrating America!” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).
