PHOTO RELEASE: Gottheimer Celebrates Lunar New Year with River Edge Community

RIVER EDGE, NJ — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) celebrated the Lunar New Year at River Edge Free Public Library with Family Touch USA and North Jersey families. The celebration featured traditional dances, music, and performances.

“Wishing a happy Lunar New Year to the millions celebrating in North Jersey and across our great nation, and may the Year of the Fire Horse bring you peace, longevity, and prosperity,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5), an Associate Member of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC). “I will continue fighting for North Jersey’s proud Asian American and Pacific Islander community — which is home to so many incredible local leaders, small business owners, and families who work day in and day out to make our state an even better place to live.”

Gottheimer was joined by River Edge Mayor Thomas Papaleo, Council President Indira Kinsella, and Councilwoman Priti Dhariwal. Library Director Daragh O’Connor and Family Touch USA received a Congressional Certificate for hosting the Lunar New Year Celebration.
