Photo Release: Gottheimer Delivers “Valentines for Vets” From Local North Jersey Students

PARAMUS, NJ — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home to deliver Valentine’s Day cards for veterans, all made by North Jersey students. Students from Ho-Ho-Kus Public School, Hackensack Middle and High School, Bogota Jr./Sr. High School, Central School, Fairmount School, Wandell School, Lincoln School, Byrd School, and Brookside School all participated to help Gottheimer collect more than 400 Valentines.
“We must always have the backs of those who have had ours,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “The Valentines for Veterans program gives everyone across the Fifth District the opportunity to show our gratitude for those veterans who put their lives on the line to defend our freedoms.”
The Valentines for Veterans program connects students across the Fifth District and Northern New Jersey to the community’s brave military veterans. There are more than 350,000 veterans across the Garden State.
