WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) held a ceremonial swearing-in on the steps of the U.S. Capitol for Maywood Mayor Richard Bolan.

In 2020, Gottheimer administered the oath of office to swear in Mayor Bolan for his first term.

“Mayor Bolan has been a longtime advocate for Maywood. After all he has done for Jersey, it’s clear that he is incredibly dedicated to making the Maywood community an even better and safer neighborhood for its thousands of residents,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5), “Mayor Bolan has worked so hard to make Jersey more affordable for families, support our first responders, and advocate for our shared Jersey values. After being elected to his second term as Mayor, I know he will continue to work tirelessly to represent the people of Maywood.”
