FORT LEE, NJ — Today, March 2, 2023, as part of the nationwide Read Across America campaign, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited Fort Lee School No. 3 to read to third and fourth grades classes of Ms. Jang, Ms. Adams, Ms. Levine, and Ms. Lallo.

Gottheimer read “Fireboat: The Heroic Adventures of the John J. Harvey” — an incredible story by Maira Kalman about life-saving heroes on 9/11 — to 60 students.

“We must continue to instill in our children the importance of reading, education, imagination, and learning,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “The power of getting lost in a book is too important for our children to lose.”
