Highlights Fifth District HQ, Economic Powerhouse for North Jersey

MONTVALE, NJ — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited the headquarters of Benjamin Moore & Co., located in Montvale in New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District. Gottheimer toured the facility and met with employees to discuss the company’s New Jersey roots and economic impact on the state. Benjamin Moore & co. has more than 400 employees in North Jerseyand nearly 2,000 employees company-wide.

Benjamin Moore was founded as a family-owned business in 1883 in Brooklyn, New York, before the Moore brothers moved the company’s factory to New Jersey. In the 1970s, Benjamin Moore moved its corporate headquarters to Montvale, where it has been since.
