TEANECK, NJ — Today, October 8, 2022, on Clergy Appreciation Day, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) took part in First Baptist Church’s Sunday service, met with Reverend Dr. Harris, and spoke to the congregation, commending them for their strength, resiliency, faith, and positive work in the community.

“I know that the First Baptist Church congregation does so much good — welcoming neighbors, family, and friends to celebrate one another and your faith. I applaud you for it and I am incredibly grateful to be here. I will continue to be your voice in Washington. I will never stop fighting for you and your families,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).
