FORT LEE, NJ — Today, November 29, 2025, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited locally-owned small businesses to celebrate Small Business Saturday and to encourage residents to support local businesses this holiday season.

In Fort Lee, Gottheimer visited LELU Patisserie, a local bakery and coffee shop known for their homemade pastries. Then he dropped in next door to O La La Hair Salon where they’ve been cutting hair in Fort Lee for over 30 years! After that, he stopped into Dancing Petals flower shop, where they create fresh flower arrangements for every occasion. He wrapped up the day at Strictly Bicycles, a local bike shop known for high quality service and bikes for everyone from beginners to seasoned pros.

“In North Jersey, our small businesses do more than offer great holiday gifts — they’re the backbone of our communities. That’s why I stopped by Fort Lee on Small Business Saturday to encourage everyone to shop local. These businesses create good jobs and keep Jersey’s economy strong. This weekend and every day, I hope folks choose to support them,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “In Congress, I’m working across the aisle to cut taxes, reduce unnecessary red tape, improve access to capital, and boost economic opportunities so North Jersey remains a great place to live and do business.”
