NORTH JERSEY — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined with members of the community at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church’s Greek Festival, held in Wyckoff, NJ.

After a year-long hiatus, the Church’s Greek Festival was back and better than ever. The festival included stands of popular and traditional Greek foods, such as grilled octopus, souvlaki sandwiches, and keftedes. Outside, festival goers danced to Greek music. Inside, there was a nearly never-ending table filled with Greek desserts, where Gottheimer enjoyed a piece of baklava.

The revival of the festival marks an important moment not only for St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, but also for the North Jersey community.
