NORTH JERSEY — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined with members of the community to celebrate Greek culture and help cook traditional food at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church’s Greek Festival, held in Wyckoff, NJ.

The festival included stands of popular and traditional Greek foods, such as grilled octopus, souvlaki sandwiches, keftedes, and more. Outside, festival goers danced to Greek music. Inside, there was a nearly never-ending table filled with Greek desserts.

Gottheimer joined volunteers in the Church’s kitchen, helping cook and serve traditional Greek foods like shawarma, patates tiganites, and more.
