BLOOMINGDALE, NJ — Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited Magpie Bakery in Bloomingdale to meet with local owners and employees, working with their team and hearing first-hand from Jersey customers as part of his “Josh on the Job” series highlighting locally owned small businesses and franchises across northern New Jersey.
“Small businesses like Magpie Bakery are the backbone of our economy and the heart of our communities,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “They’re up before dawn every morning serving Jersey families, and they deserve a partner in Washington who’s fighting to lower costs, cut red tape, and help them grow. I had a great time getting behind the counter with this team, and I’ll keep showing up to hear directly from the workers, owners, and customers who keep Bloomingdale running.”
During his visit, Gottheimer joined staff behind the counter, speaking with employees and customers from across the community about the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses today.
Gottheimer regularly visits small businesses and franchises across New Jersey’s Fifth District as part of his Josh on the Job series to hear directly from workers, owners, and customers about the issues impacting their jobs and their communities.
