PHOTO RELEASE: “Josh on the Job” — Gottheimer Visits White Manna to Meet with Jersey Families

HACKENSACK, NJ — Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited White Manna Hamburgers in Hackensack to meet with local owners and employees, working with their team and hearing first-hand from Jersey customers as part of his “Josh on the Job” series highlighting small, locally owned businesses across Northern Jersey.

Owned by Ronny Cohen and his brother, Ofer, since 1986, White Manna has been serving its famous sliders, crinkle-cut fries, and shakes in North Jersey for 80 years, making it a local institution and a popular destination for those passing through! 

During his visit, Gottheimer joined staff behind the counter, swapping stories with employees and customers from across the community over burgers and shakes.

“Places like White Manna are what put Jersey on the map. Food is incredible! Special thanks to the hard-working folks who show up day-in and day-out to keep this small business running,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Getting out into the community and onto the job is one of my favorite parts of this job — there’s nothing like sitting down with neighbors over a good meal. White Manna has been bringing folks together for 80 years, and I’m grateful to Ronny, Ofer, and their whole team for keeping this North Jersey institution cooking.”

Gottheimer regularly visits small businesses across New Jersey’s Fifth District as part of his “Josh on the Job” series to hear directly from workers, owners, and customers about the issues impacting their jobs and their communities.
