Problem Solvers Caucus Co-Chairs Condemn Violence, Call for Civility
Today, Congressmen Tom Reed (NY-23) and Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5), Co-Chairs of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, released the following joint statement in response to the tragedy in Pittsburgh:
“There is no place in our country for anti-Semitism, or hatred or discrimination against any group of Americans, regardless of religion, race, gender, heritage, or otherwise. We join together as Co-Chairs of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus to condemn the heinous and violent extremism which is tearing our country apart. Saturday’s shooting in Pittsburgh was a cowardly and hateful act, and we mourn the tragic loss of life. The bravery of the law enforcement community in Pittsburgh is an example for all of us. As Americans, we all must put country before ideology and work together to overcome the challenges we face.”
