RELEASE: Gottheimer Celebrates Samsung’s New Offices in North Jersey

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ — Today, September 22, 2025, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined Samsung leadership, as well as New Jersey state and local officials, to celebrate the opening of Samsung’s new offices in Englewood Cliffs.

Samsung’s state-of-the-art facility marks the company’s 40-year-long investment in New Jersey and is now home to about 1,200 employees. Samsung first established a presence in Bergen County, New Jersey, in 1985. The Englewood Cliffs campus replaces Samsung’s former Ridgefield Park headquarters, where the company had operated since 1992.

“I’m honored to join Samsung as they open their new North American headquarters right here in Englewood Cliffs. For nearly four decades, Samsung has been part of our North Jersey community — driving innovation and strengthening our local economy,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I helped pass the CHIPS and Science Act to invest in domestic manufacturing and workforce training, and we’re seeing the results right here in Bergen County. We must continue working together to keep America competitive on the international stage, create good-paying jobs here at home, and ensure that Jersey continues to lead the way in innovation.”

Gottheimer helped pass the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act to boost domestic semiconductor manufacturing. This critical legislation is investing in American competitiveness and addressing major supply chain issues across the country.

Gottheimer was joined by New Jersey Lt. Governor Tahesha Way, Senator Andy Kim, Congressman Rob Menendez, New Jersey Assemblywoman Ellen Park, Englewood Cliffs Mayor Mark Park, Tenafly Mayor Mark Zinna, Palisades Park Mayor Chong Paul Kim, and Yoonie Joung, President & CEO of Samsung Electronics North America.
