TEANECK, NJ — Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined the NAACP in Bergen County to help collect donations and hand out Thanksgiving turkeys to those affected by Hurricane Ida and families in need.

“Thanksgiving is not only a time to come together with friends and loved ones and to celebrate everything that we have to be grateful for, but it’s also a time to look out for those in need,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “It’s important to come together, with the Bergen County NAACP and our great community organizations, to find ways to give back to North Jersey and help those who may not be as fortunate, and that’s exactly what we were doing here today. Thank you to all the incredible volunteers who’ve helped support this important cause.”
