TEANECK, NJ — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined with the Bergen County NAACP to help collect donations and hand out Thanksgiving turkeys to support and look out for local families in need.

“Thanksgiving is not only a time to come together with friends and loved ones and to celebrate everything that we have to be grateful for, but it’s also a time to look out for those in need,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Everyone deserves a Thanksgiving turkey. That’s why it’s so important to come together, with the Bergen County NAACP and our great community organizations, to find ways to give back to North Jersey and help those who may not be as fortunate. Thank you to all the incredible volunteers who’ve helped support this important cause.”
