RELEASE: Gottheimer Helps Pass Bipartisan Legislation Condemning Hamas, Calling for the Release of All Hostages, and Reaffirming Israel’s Right to Exist
WASHINGTON D.C. — Tonight, November 28, 2023, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) helped pass two pieces of bipartisan legislation to condemn the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, reaffirm Israel’s right to exist, and call for Hamas to immediately surrender and safely release all hostages.
On October 7, Hamas terrorists brutally murdered, raped, burned alive, decapitated, and kidnapped more than a thousand innocent babies, children, women, men, and elderly, including dozens of Americans. Terrorists in Gaza are still holding hostage nearly 170 babies, children, men, women, and elderly, including Americans.
“Our objectives are clear: to stand by Israel to get Americans and all hostages home, crush the terrorists, and provide much-needed humanitarian aid to innocent Palestinian civilians. Israel must eliminate every single terrorist responsible for the atrocities committed on October 7,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).
