UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ — Today, Thursday, November 25, 2021, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) once again joined thousands of runners for the 22nd Annual Upper Saddle River 5K Run. The race benefits the Upper Saddle River Ambulance Corps and the Upper Saddle River Fire Department, as well as local charities like the Boys and Girls Clubs, the Center for Hope and Safety, the Upper Saddle River Education Fund, and the “Extra Mile” Scholarship Foundation, among others.
“During the Thanksgiving Holiday, there is nothing more powerful than coming together with your community, family, and friends in an effort to support others, and this race offers a great way to do just that,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) “I’m honored to represent such a supportive and generous community like Upper Saddle River that dedicates so much to these wonderful causes. A special thank you to the Upper Saddle River Police Department and the Fire Department for taking the time this Thanksgiving morning to make sure everyone is safe.”
