WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Friday, January 19, 2024, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) and Marc Molinaro (NY-19) joined the United States Conference of Mayors to highlight the importance of their work in the Problem Solvers Caucus. They discussed bipartisanship, the importance of world-class mayors’ from across the country, and stopping the partisan cycle of insanity.

“It was an honor to join Congressman Molinaro and incredible Mayors from Jersey and across our nation. They are on the frontline every day, solving problems facing our communities,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “We have to stop this cycle of extremism, partisanship, and insanity where people are only willing to compromise if they receive one hundred percent of what they’re asking for. There’s so much we can agree on. We need real commonsense solutions.”

Gottheimer was joined by Congressman Marc Molinaro, Hope Mayor McDonough, Elizabeth Mayor Bollwage, Piscataway Mayor Wahler, Metuchen Mayor Bush, Poughkeepsie Mayor Yvonne Flowers, United States Conference of Mayors Vice President Andrew Ginther, and hundreds of mayors from across the nation.
