HACKENSACK, NJ — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Hackensack to help collect donations and hand out hundreds of Thanksgiving turkeys to support and look out for local families in need. 

“I know that the Mount Olive Baptist Church congregation does so much good — welcoming neighbors, family, and friends to celebrate and support one another. With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the endless community support by Mount Olive’s dozens of volunteers is key and I am so grateful for their work,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I was honored to help make sure everyone gets the Thanksgiving turkey they deserve and applaud all those who donated their time and goods to help those who may not be as fortunate.”

Gottheimer was joined by Mount Olive Baptist Church Pastor Rev. Dr. John O. Page, Deacon Potts, and congregants.
