PARAMUS, NJ — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited Stew Leonard’s Farm Fresh Food grocery store to welcome customers and help serve ice cream as a part of his “Josh on the Job” tour across the Fifth District to promote local businesses.
Gottheimer was joined by VP of Stew Leonard’s Paramus Jake Travello, Bergen County Commissioner Mary Amoroso, and Bergen County Commissioner Germaine Ortiz.
“Businesses like Stew Leonard’s are a vital part of the North Jersey community and economy. They’ve been taking key steps to keep prices down, to continue offering quality locally purchased food, and create good local jobs. I want to thank Paramus VP Jake Travello and all of Stew Leonard’s for having me here to help out — with some of my favorite ice cream in North Jersey,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “To help our area’s businesses, I’m focused day and night on steps we can take to get prices down for families, and deal with the impact of the COVID-19 economy and issues in our supply chain. That’s what my Affordability Agenda is all about.”
While at Stew Leonard’s, Gottheimer also announced new steps in his Affordability Agenda for Jersey, to combat rising costs, tackle COVID-driven supply chain issues, and help make life more affordable for families and small businesses in North Jersey. Gottheimer’s plan will help boost job creation and ensure North Jersey businesses can grow and thrive.
