Yesterday, Rep. Josh Gottheimer visited the Mahwah Center for Food Action to donate supplies and distribute food to those most in need this Thanksgiving.

Rep. Gottheimer also filmed a special message for the residents of New Jersey’s 5th District on the best methods to donate, which can be viewed below.

Rep. Gottheimer then presented the Center for Food Action with the Congressional Certificate of Recognition for their efforts to end hunger in New Jersey.

The Mahwah Center for Food Action is a non-profit organization that provides food, housing, utility, and heating assistance and offers counseling and advocacy services to low-income individuals and families. Rep. Gottheimer encourages donations to The Mahwah Center for Food Action and all other non-profit advocacy organizations this Thanksgiving.
