Rural and Tribal Assistance Pilot Program

The RTA Program aims to help applicants develop
transportation infrastructure projects in rural and tribal
communities that will qualify for federal funding and
financing programs for additional development phase
activities or construction. DOT seeks to support projects that
are consistent with its strategic goals: safety, equity, climate
and sustainability, and workforce development, job quality,
and wealth creation.
