PARAMUS, NJ — Ahead of Thanksgiving, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) visited the Frisch School to write thank you letters with students to President Joe Biden for his steadfast support of America’s ally, Israel following Hamas’ terror attack. On October 7, Hamas terrorists brutally murdered, raped, burned alive, decapitated, and kidnapped more than a thousand innocent babies, children, women, men, and elderly, including dozens of Americans. Hamas is still holding nearly a dozen Americans hostage.
Gottheimer also spoke to more than 1,000 students about his work to get Americans and all hostages home, crush the Hamas terrorists, and provide much-needed humanitarian aid to innocent Palestinian civilians being used by Hamas as human shields.
“With Thanksgiving this week, I think it’s important that we thank President Biden for supporting Israel and the Jewish people, as well as local law enforcement for keeping our communities safe. I joined students and educators at the Frisch School to write thank you letters to President Biden for his unwavering support of Israel following the October 7 terror attack. The President understands that you must hold every terrorist who commits atrocities accountable or they will strike again and be stronger,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer. “America’s mission must be to get every hostage home, including all Americans, help our ally Israel defend herself and crush the terrorists, and provide much-needed humanitarian aid to innocent Palestinian civilians being used by Hamas as human shields.”
Last year, Gottheimer visited the Frisch School and spoke to students about his work in the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus and the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship.
Gottheimer was joined by the Frisch School Principal Rabbi Eli Ciner.
